As Chief of Staff, I provide guidance and counsel to Darren Fisher, the Member of Parliament for Dartmouth—Cole Harbour, while providing leadership to our team.From legislative, Parliamentary, and advocacy work on the Hill, to ensuring our team provides compassionate and sound guidance on constituency cases pertaining to the federal government, my role oversees a multitude of challenging files and opportunities.I also work with stakeholders and other orders of government directly to support the residents, businesses, and non-profit organizations of Dartmouth—Cole Harbour and across Nova Scotia. This includes advising stakeholders on funding and program opportunities, to identifying points of advocacy and policy opportunities for the MP, Caucus, and government.One of my highlights in this role:Working with staff and members of the Standing Committee on Environment and Sustainable Development and providing guidance to strengthen the protection of natural spaces across Canada, which led to exciting federal partnerships such as funding land acquisition for the Blue Mountain—Birch Cove Lakes (BMBCL) Wilderness Park. (I look forward to BMBCL becoming a National Urban Park)

And through my extensive knowledge of online marketing management I created and implemented a strong online presence for this company. I designed all marketing programs, literature and advertisements for SPAS.Through my use of marketing strategies I ensured that SPAS remained at the top of their field online and in the community.
