ChildFund Alliance is an association of 11 member organizations in over 58 countries committed to partnering on advocacy, disaster risk management and emergency response to better meet the needs of children, their families and communities. The Secretary General is a motivational leader whose job is to provide strategic direction to for the network and Secretariat team in New York.

Established in 2011, the Elevate Children Funders Group is a donor collaborative committed to building strong families and a life free from violence for all children. It endeavors to:Support the development and use of evidence to learn about what works to prevent violence and family separation.Strengthen the position of leaders addressing these challenges.Leverage new funding commitments for children. Job Duties:Develop growth strategy and provide oversight of all group expansion plans, including strategic outreach to prospective members. Identify and explore potential areas of synergy and collaborative work amongst group members, including through targeted information gathering initiatives. Strategic LeadershipEstablish New York Secretariat to launch global signature program for Tokyo-based organization.Launch the World Day of Prayer and Action for Children, a global campaign partnering faith-based organizations, civil society, inter-governmental organizations and governments to achieve child development goals; in 3 years number of activities tripled and expanded from 22 to 72 countries across all major continents.Spearheaded proposed theme inspired by UN secretary, organized expert discussion of key learnings, developed and executed campaign three year action plan to Stop Violence against Children with leadership and global council.Initiated and lead strategic planning exercise to develop vision, mission, core strategies for fundraising and communication and action plan to ensure long term sustainability. Provided guidance and strategic messages to further organization's advocacy initiatives and Congressional appropriation's process ($130 million FY'08)Influence development of innovative web-based National Volunteer Center for thousands of grassroots advocates and 95 organized campus groups. Cultivated NGO support for UNICEF programs on Malnutrition, Maternal and Child Health and Education.Member, Katrina Task Force. Coordinated NGO delivery response program in which 2,500 Education and Recreation kits were distributed to schools, churches and NGO networks in Katrina affected region.
