👋🏻 I'm Meghaa Modi, the founder and CEO of Meghaa Modi Design Studio, a creative hub where we conceptualize, design, and produce events, weddings, art installations, photoshoots, brand activations, and more. At the core of our work lies a strong commitment to eco-friendly and sustainable designs, reflecting my deep respect and understanding of nature, honed through my intensive Master studies in Ikebana. I believe that my spiritual growth and perception has helped me to visualise designs that would suit my clients’ requirements and bring them to reality. My team and I believe in progress, moving forward and positive energy. I believe that every installation and floral décor should spark joy and touch all your senses.🌿 Sustainability is a philosophy that permeates every aspect of our work. My Ikebana training has imbued me with a profound appreciation for nature, which manifests in every design we create.🏫 I also spearhead the Meghaa Modi Design School, a pioneering institution in India (and one of the finest globally) that offers in-depth and detailed courses in floral design. Our school is a melting pot of creativity and learning, where we also conduct corporate workshops. These sessions are designed to help companies and organisations foster a connection with nature while reaping the therapeutic benefits of flowers, such as enhanced mood, reduced anxiety, and improved emotional health. We believe in the power of these workshops to strengthen team bonds, foster skill development, and ignite creative expression. We also conduct lessons for individuals who are hobbyists or looking to build a career in floral design.🌎 My passion for design has taken me around the globe. I have spent years perfecting the art of floral design under some of the world's finest floral designers, including Yukio Otani of Umahana, Ohara School of Ikebana in Japan, Kaz Ichikawa of the MAMI Flower Design School in Japan & Thailand, and Gregor Lersch in Belgium. My education was further enriched by studying commercial floristry under the tutelage of Christopher Lim in Singapore. I have also been one of the few Indians invited by the Government of Colombia to their floral exhibition PROFLORA as an international buyer and influencer. I also feel honoured to have served as jury member for World Skills Competition, India. 📩 Currently, I design installations and events globally and also run my floral design institution internationally.
