In the Spring I will administer the SCID to college students who are part of the Fourtitude research project. I worked as a summer research fellow on a research project that was funded by a $3.4 million multi-institution grant from the Duke Endowment program for a 4-year longitudinal study on resiliency in college students. The study looks at students at Furman, Davidson, Duke and Johnson C. Smith. I coordinated with a Furman professor while working collaboratively with students from different institutions. My personal project investigated the role of contingency of self-worth of appearance and social rejection. I worked with other students on a group research project on resiliency in college students. I created a poster for individual and group project. I also presented individual and group research to the Duke Endowment Foundation. In addition I presented my individual poster at the Furman- Davidson Summer Research Conference.
