CAPT Meghan Corso currently serves as the Chief of Behavioral Health Clinical Operations at the Defense Health Agency. Directs daily operations across a diverse, high-visibility portfolio of 104 HQ staff, over 9,200 MTF BH staff worldwide delivering care to 9.4 million beneficiaries at 450 treatment facilities and $3B in annual expenditures in military direct care and civilian network care. In this role, CAPT Corso is responsible for DoD-wide behavioral health policies, procedural instructions, and Congressional reports. She serves as a DoD representative to several interagency and inter-service task forces which address significant national or international behavioral health concerns with the goal of developing and executing solutions. CAPT Corso graduated from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in Washington DC in 2006. She also earned board certification in Clinical Health Psychology in 2012 from the American Board of Professional Psychology. CAPT Corso is a Scientist Officer in the United States Public Health Service since 2009. She also honorably served four years as a psychologist in the United States Air Force. CAPT Corso has earned an impressive award history including USPHS Meritorious Service Medal; USPHS Outstanding Service Medal; USPHS Presidential Unit Citation; USPHS Outstanding Unit Award; and U.S. Navy Commendation Medal among others.
