I am passionate about the field I work in, therefore I always show up giving a 110 percent. I have 12 years experience working within the field of Psychology/Mental Health, I was able to gain experience in many settings by taking short term contracts, covering maternity leaves, etc. This was a strategic approach to building my experience in different settings and environments with different demographics and learning many, many different resources within our community that have become very valuable when offering a quality service to individuals in need. I am motivated by clients; by getting to know them, their stories, their barriers, their hopes, their dreams. I enjoy finding creative, "outside the box" solutions to challenging and complex issues and situations. I work well under pressure, in crisis, individually as well as in a team. I am also able to efficiently carry out administrative tasks, write reports, multi-task, implement policies and procedures, work with finances and case management, coordinate and network. I truly enjoy advocating, building rapport and counseling. I will go above and beyond because I believe offering a quality, impartial service to the vulnerable people in our community is not only important but is imperative to their future. I believe that showing dignity, empathy and compassion can go a long way. " Never believe that a few caring people can't change the world. For, indeed that's all who ever have"- Margaret Mead
