Oversaw the growth and development of the Communications Division, creating more than 3,000 graphics and social media posts annually, expanding digital communications, implementing a new website, and expanding day-to-day engagement with citizens and stakeholders. Led the development and implementation of all communications strategies for the City of Independence, including rebranding and rollout of the logo, social media management, content creation, event planning, public meeting oversight, media relations, and general communication strategy.

Oversaw the implementation of a strategic communication plan, including the creation of press releases, speeches, and media events designed to meet critical goals - Managed marketing plans for all office areas and essential office programs.- Managed telethons in the St. Louis, Kansas City, and Springfield areas, helping return thousands of dollars in Unclaimed Property to Missourians- Researched and located the owner of WWI military medals held as Unclaimed Property, successfully returning them to family through resulting media I designed all office printed materials.

Drafted and designed communications and publications projects including press releases, printed materials, portions of the Blue Book, and training materials for poll workers. Oversaw advertising and marketing efforts for divisions.
