Meghan Schultz is an Executive Vice President and the Chief Financial Officer for Invenergy. She leads the corporate finance, capital markets and portfolio finance functions as well as M&A. Invenergy has successfully developed more than 30 GW of projects around the world, including wind, solar, transmission infrastructure and natural gas power generation and advanced energy storage projects.In her 15 years at Invenergy, Meghan has overseen the execution of more than $30 billion in private equity investments, power plant acquisitions and sales, and project debt and tax equity financing. Her team of 150+ professionals has established an unparalleled track record for its ability to execute on innovative financings and raise capital to meet the needs of the growing business. Meghan is passionate about promoting women within the company and the industry. She led the effort to establish the Invenergy Women’s Network, its first affinity group, and was a founding member of the Chicago Chapter of WRISE. She is a member of Invenergy's Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee. Meghan’s expertise has been recognized by industry organizations: Power Finance and Risk Sponsor Finance Official of 2016 and 2019 (voted on by industry participants) and A Word About Wind’s “Women’s Power List” in 2017 and 2021 and their "North American Power List" in 2022.Prior to joining Invenergy in 2008, Schultz was a Vice President at Bank of America and at ABN AMRO on the Power and Utilities team. She earned a BBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
