Hi my name is Meghan (Doyle) Yoder and I am a travel registered nurse through Aya Healthcare currently working at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, IN working in the Neonatal Intensive Care unit. My previous travel assignment was at Medical University of South Carolina at Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital. I worked for the Pediatric Critical Care team, which I work in Newborn Intensive Care, Cardiovascular Pediatric Critical Care, and Pediatric Intensive Care. I just finished my masters in science from Indiana Wesleyan University for family nurse practitioner where I completed 700 clinical hours in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic specialty care and with a cardiothoracic surgery team. I currently have my compact license as well as licensed in Massachusetts.I previously worked at Community Hospital North in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU). I have been in the NICU since graduating from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2016. There I have developed lifelong, beneficial skills that I will use throughout my career. I have learned to work under stress, collaboration with multiple healthcare specialities, mentor fellow nurses, and patient/parent education. The strengths I have established are remaining calm during the care of critically ill infants, being very empathic, and very clear communication. I am very passionate about disease prevention and health promotion and had a strong desire to education myself further to put my passions into practice.
