As a member of the Brand Training Team I work directly with the Department Director to set strategies for creation and deployment of company-wide sales training program. I am the Project Manager for various deliverables including production of app-based training program, videos and other training materials.Part of my role as Project Manager is to organize, plan and direct the production of digital assets, work directly with programmers and vendors for the development of content, sequence, graphics and ease of functionality of company’s proprietary app-based training program, and am a resource to all departments for support regarding functionality and displays in the training app. I partner with internal teams to customize app-based training programs based on their department needs, for example working with merchants to create app-based, selling-focused evergreen and seasonal product knowledge to reflect current company strategies and initiatives.My responsibilities also include assisting the brand historian and performing quality control of marketing materials and special seasonal publication for brand authenticity and managing brand archive inventory and works with various departments to source brand-centric imagery and content for design, visual and marketing projects and for the development of legacy-based campaigns.

During my time as a Brand Training Assistant our department launched an internal training app. I assisted with the development of the content, layout, and design for an internal training app and worked with multimedia production and video production vendors to develop and implement to app to maximize associate results and accountability.I also work with the brand's history and archives and collaborated with various internal departments to source brand-centric imagery and content for design, visual and marketing projects and the research and development of co-branded product.

As a Brand Development intern I took an active role in managing the brand's history and archives, with an emphasis on the digital archives. I acquired and documented legacy products to increase physical archive inventory and provided brand-specific research for internal and external partners.

I graduated from The Florida State University with two degrees in Retail Merchandising and Product Development and Business Management. My course work covered a wide range of topics that increased my knowledge in both business and retail.

Belk-Southpark

While interning at Belk I gained a vast amount of knowledge about how a major department store is run. Some of my tasks included working on special events, assisting the management team with their daily tasks, setting sales, and visual merchandising. I was also able to participate in a store audit and inventory.
