I'm not afraid of new opportunities and take on challenges with enthusiasm. I'm very committed to learning be it new technology, processes and growing my skill set. Naturally I'm nurturing and truly care about the people I work with and around. I started at SuperValu as a buyer assistant for the veg department then the fruit department. I worked in the transportation department hiring trucks for the Midwest. I was also a produce inspector for our Fresno field buying office. I truly love the produce industry and working at Supervalu afforded me so many opportunities such as field tours, value added production tours and trade shows. I had so much experience I was simultaneously buying fruit for a DC in the Eastern region, inspecting and could also cover buying for veg when necessary. I left the produce industry to care for my children full time. While raising my children I was able to hone my flexibility skills, it taught me how to prioritize and handle spontaneity. I volunteered many hours at their elementary school organizing events and helping where needed.Most recently I began working as a paraeducator for Sanger Unified School District at Sanger High School. I help students achieve academic goals in their in general educational core classes. I'm currently looking for a position in the Agricultural industry.
