Recently, I moved to Miami to launch my marketing career in an international marketplace. I had obtained my goal of being a golf professional at a well renown and nationally respected country club, the oldest club west of the Mississippi. Now as my career evolves I want to utilize my marketing degree more fully in the golf industry. Currently, I work as an Assistant Manager and Marketing Professional for Equipaws Pet Services. This position was created specifically for me to develop marketing programs to increase their business. Using my organizational skills I have developed internal and external procedures which have resulted in efficient and clear communications between management, staff, current, and potential clients. I oversee and develop all marketing platforms that promote and attract our demographics, which has allowed the company to effectively reach a larger market share. I am equally responsible for managing the financial aspects of the marketing budget and reporting sales and profits. Prior to my move to Miami, I was an Assistant Golf Professional at the Denver Country Club, located in the heart of Denver, Colorado. I spent four years enhancing my knowledge of golf and increasing my marketing skills. Colleagues refer to me as the ultimate professional wrapped in fun and creativity. As a seasoned golf professional I fine-tuned my communications skills while instructing golf to a variety of genders and ages with equal success. If one method didn’t work, I found a number of other solutions to help the individual enjoy and become a success in the sport-always a problem solver. My goal as an Assistant Golf Professional and leader of the women’s golf program was to increase participation of the ladies program. I utilized my marketing skills and tournament knowledge to create and promote numerous new golf events at the club that significantly increased our female member participation, increased profitability and resulted in an expansion of the program.
