Hi there, I'm Meghan. I used to work as a Creative Strategy Director in the advertising world, but after 10+ years of doing that, I craved a real humanness at the center of my work. Sure, "consumers" are real humans, but I wanted to talk to real people every day. I wanted to know what they needed and help them find answers. This led me recruiting - a role I was basically doing in my previous positions where I was leading departments and building social and creative strategy teams and managing multi-million dollar scopes of work. As a recruiter, I lead with empathy and a desire to understand the needs of both the role and of my candidates. Collaborating with hiring managers and internal stakeholders comes easy, as I've played their part. I help business leaders think about the needs of their team, both long and short term, and partner with them to find amazing people to join them. I've hired executive creative directors, heads of strategy, art directors, copywriters, TikTok creators, every social media role under the sun, account leads, heads of design, product design leaders, etc.In my capacity as a recruiter, what I am most proud of is creating an experience that leaves a candidate feeling heard, respected, and supported. Finding a job and interviewing is highly emotional, time consuming, and complex. Everytime a candidate tells me, "This process was so smooth!" Or, "You helped me prepare for that interview - I felt really good about it!" I know that I've done my job.
