1 of 3 Clinical Analysts supporting any and all clinical applications utilized in 250 bed hospital w/ Meditech 6.08 as hospital EHR and Athena as outpatient EHR. Responsibilities as a Clinical Analyst includes but is not limited to: project management of new application implementations, modifications and optimizations to existing systems, help desk ticket support for all clinical applications. I am the subject matter expert concerning any and all clinical interfaces and integration, as well as the sole interface analyst for both Meditech and Athena. I also implement all new interfaces and am the primary manager of our interface engine Cloverleaf.

Worked for large healthcare system with facilities throughout northern and southern California, as well as Texas. I was brought on to manage existing and ongoing integration issues for a multi-vendor system (AllScripts and MEDITECH) as well as to identify large picture issues to enhance overall system stability and efficiency. My primary responsibilities include: point person for tracking any and all interface issues as well as delegating to the appropriate IS teams, facilitating communication b/w IS staff and users and/or healthcare management, holding biweekly team meetings to discuss big picture issues, enforce timely follow-up on issues and enhancements, among many others. On top of all this, I am working towards the larger goal of utilizing the interoperability structure created at the flagship facility as a standard model to roll out throughout the healthcare system.

Completed historical data conversion from MEDITECH to Epic Beaker for pathology results and from MEDITECH to Mediware's HCLL system for blood bank histories at a large healthcare organization in upstate NY. Responisibilities included: coordinating and organizing site resources by also facilitating communication between parties involved in conversion. I worked closely with Blood Bank manager and staff to understand key concepts and requirements to ensure necessary data was apart of patient BBK histories, as well as Rhapsody programmers and OV support resources to spearhead the technical processes that would ensure the data comes across clean and the mapping process streamlined. Adhering to the project scope and timeframe, I was able to provide the site with the support and skills to complete a full data conversion for over 20 years of historical results from blood bank and pathology in under three months.
