With 10 years of experience in international development and humanitarian assistance, I am passionate about supporting the United Nations (UN) in achieving its goals and advancing the well-being of people and the planet. My core competencies include programme management, communication, resource mobilization, and partnerships. I currently work for the Development Account, a capacity development programme of the UN Secretariat that enhances the capacities of developing countries in the priority areas of the UN Development Agenda. In my previous role as a Government Partnerships and Reporting Officer at the World Food Programme (WFP), I led the donor relations unit of the Haiti Country Office during two emergency scale-ups, increasing funding by over 100% and establishing new partnerships with International Financial Institutions to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. I also supervised an international consultant and managed donor reporting and proposals, planned donor visits to the field, and helped identify strategic opportunities. Prior to that, I worked as an External Partnerships Consultant at WFP in Switzerland, where I wrote statements, briefs, and talking points for the Director in Geneva, represented WFP in Member State briefings and inter-agency meetings, and coordinated logistics for events and exhibits. Through these experiences, I have developed strong skills in communication, programme management, fundraising and partnerships, as well as a deep understanding of the humanitarian and development landscape.
