With 15+ years of experience, I have a proven track record of creating high-impact visibility campaigns and advocating for social change across various sectors. My passion for using strategic communication to drive policy reforms that benefit communities and our planet has led to significant achievements in international development. I excel at leading collaborative relationships and consensus building among strategic representatives, donors, and other key stakeholders. My journalism background and extensive network not only give me transferable skills that allow me to thrive in any industry but also open doors to unique perspectives and possibilities.In recognition of my outstanding contributions to youth development, I have been awarded the inaugural PR Excellence Award by the Public Relations Society of Tanzania for my work on the USAID/Feed the Future Tanzania Advancing Youth program. I authored the Impact Stories book, a visually-compelling 162-page publication showcasing the incredible journeys of success of 29 youth over a five-year period. The book was foreworded by the USAID Mission Director. My passion for visual storytelling extends to photography, where my award-winning work was showcased at the USAID YouthPower Annual Learning Network Meeting in Washington, DC in 2020.I have cultivated strategic relationships with international donors and development organizations, including the United Nations and the European Union. I spearheaded communications for USAID-funded programs in agribusiness and youth empowerment, consistently delivering world-class communications that align with global standards. My proficiency in evaluating clients' comprehensive needs and implementing innovative communication strategies has resulted in heightened brand visibility, the identification of opportunities, effective risk management, and successful navigation of communication challenges.Outside of work, I serve on non-profit boards, using my expertise to give back to my community. My volunteering work with UK charities earned me the Chevening Gold Award. Additionally, I mentor early-stage professionals in the communication field and advise start-ups on branding and storytelling. I find joy in hiking and recently summited Mt.
