Having worked at different levels in several sectors, I have a developed a wide range of experience within the customer service industry over the past 14 years, from working in a busy café and hotel as an assistant, to becoming a manager in the retail industry in 2013. Through my role as a manager, I developed a thorough understanding of KPI’s, margins, profits, labour costs and health and safety and developing it into a cohesive and thriving department to improve sales. Other responsibilities entailed Implementing policies and procedures to ensure safety and limit risk, problem solving and dealing with issues and ensuring the issues are dealt with and best possible result is achieved. To monitor and maintain stock inventory levels to avoid over and under stock problems. As well as this the role also required me to develop and mentor my team, to ensure they give the best service and to develop their skills within their career.
