As a member of the communications committee, I helped to execute all outward-reaching events and communicate SAB events to the general public and the organization's members. I also helped organize the social media platforms and drive engagement, as well as helping in marketing the organization towards potential new members.

As a committee member on the Alumni Engagement committee, I help to establish alumni connections for networking and professional purposes. The Bobcat Alumni network is very strong, so I want to be able to take advantage of that through the Student Alumni Board. Thus far, we have met with Aimee Rancer of Pinterest, Ally Brown of CBS Mornings and Catherine Gignac of American Eagle.

I was appointed the Creative Projects Manager by both the VP of Communications and the VP of Professional Development. In this role, I execute all creative projects for the organization, including, but not limited to, headshots for all members, photography within the Student Alumni Board organization and create social media posts.

As the President of the Ohio University Multimedia Society, I plan and organize different events throughout the school year that the organization can be involved in. Each week, the other co-President and I work together along with the rest of the executive team to come up with ways to engage students interested in multimedia and help them grow creatively and professionally. We plan networking trips, hold workshops, bring in professors and other professionals for lectures, and come together to bond as a group.In the fall of 2022, I along with the rest of the executive board planned and executed a networking trip to New York City to meet with company contacts and alumni to gain knowledge about the creative field. We reached out to and met with CBS, Rolling Stone Magazine, Pier 59, the Wall Street Journal and Jodi Jones Studio.

Ohio University Multimedia Society brings together students of all majors who are interested in any sort of media. We meet once a week to be updated on the latest digital trends by talking about the latest design news or sharing new inspiration. Although I have not been able to go on a networking trip because of COVID, every year the society takes its members to cities, like New York, Chicago or Washington DC to network with professionals and alum to learn more about the media field.

On behalf of Ohio University Culinary Services, I photographed food and events to be published on social media platforms and online publications. I promoted dining courts, retail venus, campus markets and campus cafes. As well, I built a social media strategy to communicate information with students, faculty and staff about events, food and employment.

In August of 2023, I was promoted to the position of Creative Director, where I took on a role very different from production. I provided valuable support to the creative team by gathering compelling creative content for publication. I actively contributed to the conceptualization of photo shoots, paying meticulous attention to the finer details.

In April of 2022, I was selected out of a handful of other candidates to lead the photography department of Thread Magazine. I will be managing the entire photo section by assigning and scheduling shoots throughout the year. I will drive communication between the photo exec team, photo staff and the rest of the executive board, and I will work with the photography editor to approve edits; the design director on photos sent into the magazine; and creative directors to create unique concepts for shoots.

Thread Magazine is a student-run publication at Ohio University. Every semester, we put out two to three issues focusing on fashion and pop culture. Since spring semester of 2021, I have created mood boards, determined props, clothing, makeup, set design and lighting leading up to photoshoots. As a part of Thread Magazine, I have shot photographs for the middle of the book, celebrity style, "Seams" and DIY. Since fall semester of 2021, I have assisted the photography editor by editing "Who, What, Wear" and DIY photographs as well as assisting on various photoshoots.

My work as a Photography Intern at Burklehagen Photography was essential in ensuring the regular success of still and motion sets. My main duties were to help and act as a digital tech for various assignments and to be aware of the workflows of photographers and food stylists to better serve their needs. I worked with renowned international customers like Tim Hortons, Cinnabon, DiGiorno's, Olive Garden, and others. Additionally, I worked directly with food stylists the whole internship to compile my own 15-20 page food portfolio.

During the summer of 2022, I secured a product photography internship with GNC for a 12-week program along with 47 other interns. With the photography team, I was able to learn the ins and outs of everything that goes into a photoshoot, from the initial planning to the post-production stages. Every week, I assisted, digiteched and sometimes styled up to 3 photoshoots for both E-Commerce and campaign use. I gained so much knowledge and had so much fun in the studio working with the Head Photographer, Ashley Rose, the Senior Manager of Licensing and Photography, Greg Kellerman, and everyone else on the creative team. Throughout the summer, I spent time working on other assignments, such as creating the prop catalog, headshots for executives and photographing the grand reopening of the GNC headquarters. The catalog project was my main intern project that I had to present to the executive council at the end of the 12-week program. I was in charge of organizing, photographing, creating metadata, and uploading over 700 props in the GNC inventory. Overall, this has been my favorite photography experience I have held during my career, and it really solidified my passion for photography.

During the summer of 2021, I spent time as an intern for Walsh Photography in Pittsburgh. Frank Walsh, the owner, helped me to understand the field of commercial photography first hand. While I was there, I assisted Frank and his assistants in tearing down and building sets for various photoshoots, shop for props and set designs, and brainstorm with clients on different shot ideas. Frank educated me on lighting in a professional studio, communication with agencies and clients, and how post-production works. During this time, I was able to shadow Frank as he shot ad campaigns for Phillips Respironics and Mine Safety Appliances.

At Longhorn Steakhouse, I was able to build my communication and time management skills. Every shift, I communicated with eager customers wanting food and constructed waitlists for those in line. Not only did I host at the restaurant, but I also bussed tables and ran food and drinks to tables in a timely manner. I balanced hosting at the restaurant with high school and other various school activites.
