I have worked with children as a nanny or teacher for ten years. I completed two internships within the USF exceptional education program. The first internship I worked with a VPK class where i completed observations, helped with lesson planning, and completed 5 assessments with the same student. My second internship i worked with a varying exceptionalities teacher. I went to 5 classes a day in 4 separate grades, pulling out students who had difficulties in reading. I was required to do many assessments on 5 different students, provide reading interventions including completing the state required Reading Binder, as well as a ten consecutive day horizontal lesson plan on 5 students for reading interventions.
