• Drive the development and implementation of the patient engagement strategy for GLI• Lead proactive external engagement with patient advocates, key patient advocacy groups and other stakeholders•Develop the Advanced Advocacy Academy (A3) program, which may include virtual, hybrid, or live events• Develop educational content and activities for a range of advocacy topics including policy and legislation, digital health, clinical research and development, and more• Work with grassroots organizations and other referral partners to assist in matching participants with engagement and advocacy opportunities• Identify new partners and opportunities for collaboration in the patient engagement space and for the growth of GLI’s patient advocacy community• Assess evolving patient advocacy landscape and ensure the patient voice is incorporated into all GLI programs• Lead the recruitment, increased participation and continued engagement of new A3 attendees, alumni and guest speakers• Support patient advocacy initiatives in GLI’s NASH, Liver Cancers, Pediatric and Rare Liver Diseases, Policy, Communications programs, and others as assigned

Sisters by Heart provides support, education, and empowerment to patients and families affected by Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS), and other single ventricle (SV) defects, from initial diagnosis to the Fontan and beyond.

The Fontan Outcomes Network (FON) is a lifespan learning network made up of a community of patients, families, clinicians, and researchers who together seek to transform outcomes for all people affected by single ventricle heart disease by leveraging data to facilitate research, drive improvement, and spark innovation.

Addressing the emotional health needs of patients and families with chronic conditions is important, evidence-based, and feasible. In collaboration with the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) and Cincinnati Children's Anderson Center, The Roadmap Project provides health professionals, patients, and families the tools and resources to ensure that addressing emotional health is a routine part of excellent and equitable care.

I presented at fundraising events for medical mission trips. I had the opportunity to travel to Ecuador with the foundation to assist in the cardiac care needs in Guayaquil. I organized surgical data compilations and assisted in patient care experience.
