Current

Chicago, Il

In my current role as Product Marketing Manager, I oversee the marketing planning for our Sectionwide meetings and on-demand learning products using both digital and traditional marketing methods. I am the go-to branding team member and created a Section branding guide for building a cohesive look across our marketing materials. I also lead the Business Law Section's programmatic advertising planning and execution for membership and products. And in 2019, I was appointed as a member of the ABA's Email Center where I represent the 30+ entities across the organization as it shifts from our current email platform to an upgraded and integrated marketing platform, helping with the strategic direction of this rollout as it relates to entities.

As Marketing Manager, I was responsible for overseeing the marketing for the Section of Litigation's various business units including books, products, meetings, membership, committees, and business development and managing the Marketing Assistant, Marketing Specialist, and Technology Specialist positions. As Marketing Manager, I quarterbacked the creation of a made-from-scratch books catalog featuring 30 Section of Litigation book titles. The catalog features staged product photos for each title, compelling descriptions, pricing information, and links to purchase. In the role of marketing manager, the marketing unit increased our Section of Litigation law student membership totals 25% year over year September 2015 to 2016 through targeted email campaigns to law student related audiences. Last, in this role, I was responsible for designing and updating a stand alone website for a new program called the Federal Rules Roadshow, an event that stopped in 17 cities since the fall of 2015.

Chicago, Il

In June 2014, my position as Marketing Associate was upgraded to Marketing Specialist to better reflect my position's responsibilities. I also carried out the creation of a social media policy for our Section to control the vast number of volunteer participant creation of outside committee social media profiles for the Section's over 30 committees. The policy helped to streamline the Section's social media messaging and to close out dormant accounts that were not maintained and reflecting poorly on the Section's brand.
