In 2023, I took over the program's Media Entrepreneurship course and am using The New Journalist's Guide to Freelancing as the core text.I also serve as the co-director for the Community Podcast Initiative, an exciting new space and program out of the School of Communication Studies that looks to connect student journalists with members the community to tell stories in new and innovative ways. This program is funded by grants through the Canada Foundation for Innovation John R. Evans Leaders Fund, the government of Alberta, and a significant and much-appreciated donation from Shaw.
