Dr. Abolhassani is a well-experienced research leader with solid industrial and academic background in designing, manufacturing, and testing of motor drives and power electronic converters from fractional Hp to multi MW and medium voltage in various applications in automotive, traction, industrial, home appliances, and wind energy. He has years of leadership experience in various product development from concept to production. He contributed in some chapters of DSP-Based Electromechanical Motion Control, and of Handbook of Power Electronics, 2nd Edition: Devices, Circuits and Applications. He holds 35 issued or pending US and international patents.
