A clinical embryologist and an influential pioneer in the transfer of IVF technology and its development in Iran. Helping to launch a specialized doctorate in reproductive biotechnology as well as the scientific development of ART in Iran. Extensive participation in the development of standards for infertility services and the ethical aspect of infertility, including the drafting of the Embryo Donation Law in Iran "How to donate Embryos to Infertile Couples" and the "Law on Medical Abortion in Iran". One of the founders of Rooyan Institute and Rooyan Infertility Clinic (the first and largest infertility clinic established in 1987 in Tehran-Iran. Founder of Avicenna Research Institute and Avicenna Infertility Clinic in Tehran in 1977. Chairman and member of Editorial Board of Journal of Reproduction & Infertility, Since1999. Chairman of Avicenna Journal of Medical Biotechnology, Since 2008. Chairman of UNESCO National Committee for Bioethics, (2013-2016). Currently designing clinical trial cell therapy for infertile patients with ovarian insufficiency in the Netherlands. My research and treatment field is clinical embryology, autologous stem cell transplantation to preserve fertility and ethical issues related to reproduction. Authored in more than 300 articles in domestic and international journals.
