Based on my extensive credentials, I am acknowledged as a pivotal figure in Iranian children's literature. With a forty-year commitment, I have particularly focused on children's and adolescent literature, accentuating critical analysis. I initiated the respected quarterly journal "Pazhuheshnameh," a benchmark in the discourse on Children & Youth's Literature, with 75 published issues. Simultaneously, I led as the inaugural editor of "Ketabe Mah-e Koodak va Nojavan," critiquing children's literature over an uninterrupted 8-year span, publishing 96 issues.My expansive body of work includes composing and translating 140 fiction and theoretical titles, with a predominant focus on children's literature. This work is disseminated through academic and specialized avenues. Holding a Doctorate in Art Studies, I've also contributed to pedagogy at Allameh Tabatabai University.For over three decades, I've held influential roles at Ofoq Publishers, a cornerstone of Iranian children's literature. Furthermore, my involvement extends to co-founding four NGOs dedicated to children's literature. Having served eight terms on the board of the "Association of Writers for Children and Youth," including a tenure as Chairman, I've carried this role into my current online engagement since relocating to Canada.In 2020, I gained recognition through my nomination for the prestigious "Astrid Lindgren Award" in Sweden. Multiple accolades within Iran have affirmed my contributions. My primary focus underscores the cultural impact of art and literature on children, with children's literature critique at its nucleus.I firmly assert that the genesis of all human pursuits can be traced back to childhood. The erosion of innocence, coupled with the fading of youthful enthusiasm and the suppression of the inner child within adults, collectively underlie social crises.
