I qualified as a trainee with the Teaching Artist Program wing of the Community Word Project. As part of my fellowship, I'm currently interning at a Teaching Artist with a fifth grade classroom at the Henry David Thoreau High School in Astoria, New York.

As the contributing writer for scroll.in, I wrote long-form features, interviews, and op-eds on cinema, music, television, with a special emphasis on social commentary.

I taught creative writing to a class of second year students of the Bachelor of Mass Media program. Together, we went through the forms, styles and genres that make up professional and personal writing.

As the Senior Feature Writer at India's premier music festival platform, Festival Sherpa, I was entrusted with writing innovative long-form narratives on the contemporary festival culture. While at Festival Sherpa, I have written about and interviewed musicians such as Tycho, Pretty Lights, Skrillex, Explosions in the Sky, Giorgio Moroder, Flying Lotus, Raghu Dixit and L. Subramaniam. I also rose up to task with sub-editorial functions as and when required to do so.

As the contributing feature writer at the Indian webzine Pandolin, I worked on several long-form columns, op-ed pieces and interviews with leading and upcoming figures of the movie industry, with a special emphasis on independent talent.

As the junior copywriter at digital marketing firm Digital Dubba, I worked on the marketing plan of Phantom, the production house set up by Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Vikas Bahl and Madhu Mantena. I handled the digital marketing of the documentary movie, Katiyabaaz, working on its cohesive online presence. I also helmed the digital content of Tata Lit! Live, the literature festival.
