DIRECT MATERIAL & SPARES• Works with the unit’s business functions to understand needs• Identifies local Sourcing opportunities for direct materials and spare parts• Negotiates frame contracts and price lists with suppliers to be used within the unit for direct materials/spares• Acts as contract owner for direct material/spares suppliers• Supports the implementation of global/area category plans within our unit• Can act as a sourcing specialist also for the needs of other units in specific cases representing the needs of these other units towards suppliers.• Develop and implement pricing strategies for logistics services, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.• Negotiate pricing agreements with logistics service providers, carriers, and suppliers to secure favorable rates and terms.INSTALLATIONS• Identifies local Sourcing opportunities for Installation subcontracting/subcontracted installation services• Negotiates frame contracts and price lists with suppliers to be used by business for locally sourced installation subcontracting• Acts as contract owner for local installation subcontractor suppliers• Supports the implementation of global/Area category plans within our unitPERFORMANCE MEASURES• Savings performance in sourcing projects and savings data accuracy• Product or service cost reduction or product cost model contribution in own area of responsibility• Sourcing Pre-to-post contribution in own area of responsibility• Cost development in own Area/unit/category of responsibility in comparison with business drivers (e.g. spend, FTEs, units delivered, etc.)• Contract coverage % and quality in area of responsibility• Compliance with contract owner tasks in alignment with KONE supplier segmentation• Supplier quality/performance (e.g. EFR) and/or on-time delivery• Quality of supplier segmentation and classification management in own area of responsibility• Compliance to internal control requirements

Since 1955, Lindsay Corporation has been a pioneer provider of agricultural irrigation systems and the owner of %50 of the global irrigation market which has branches in United States, Turkey, France, Italy, China, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Brasil, Netherland.-Managing supplier relationships, including conducting cost analysis, negotiating prices, supplier onboarding process, and ensuring quality, deadlines, and expectations are met.-Procuring various direct/indirect materials&services, spare parts, and capital/plant equipment required for production and company operations including Logistics services-Creating purchase orders in MS Navision and sending them to suppliers-Following up on purchase orders and coordinating logistics transactions including transportation, customs, and import processes with minimum costs.-Ensuring customs clearance activities are carried out in accordance with foreign trade regulations-Ensuring the materials are on time, complete, and in conformity with required conditions & specifications -Increasing the number of alternative suppliers and creating a competitive environment-Identifying and implementing continuous improvement/development processes such as product localization, cost savings initiatives, Lean 6 Sigma projects-As a member of the Lindsay Global Procurement Team, Playing a critical role in Implementing and developing new strategies to improve overall business performances.-Monitoring the performance of suppliers, and resolving issues & concerns, and giving feedback to SCM -Tracking market trends for services & materials such as Logistics and Commodity markets that are required for production and operation.-Preparing monthly performance reports (Logistics Reports, Cost savings, Purchasing rates, stock levels, market trends, Risk management, etc.)-Verifying and forwarding order invoices from MS Navision to the financial department in a timely manner.-Participating in internal and external audits.
