Hardware Design Engineer
For Static Var Compansator, I have designed thyristor interface board for firing 8 simultaneous thristor using fiber. I have designed Matlab automation system to tune active notch filter which resides 18 filter section in a single board.For active power filter design, I was resposible for both control electronics and 3 phase IGBT based power converter part. I have calculated total power loss according to the PSCAD simulation under different load and selected proper heat sink. I tested heat sink for thermal resistance with equivalent thermal power. My collegues designed active power filter control algorithm for selected harmonic elimination. I have writtern several FFT algorithm for both C2000 and Arm microcontroller for performance evaluation.
