In the meantime, Dentistry also enjoyed good potentials with the assistance of Medical Engineering field.Medical Engineering has became so effective in the field of diagnosis and treatment that it seems very accurate and efficient diagnosis and treatment is possible merely based on technologies in this field.He is one of the dentists who, despite their education in several fields, have chosen dentistry as their major field.Let's get more familiar with Dr. Mehran Hemati first:He graduated from Shiraz Dental College in 1998, when the developments in most dental treatments such as cosmetic, root canal therapy or implant treatment were started with using new composites, rotary files and SLA implant surfaces. He spent several years acquainting and training new tips, and in 2003 obtained a CLCC in implant field from MOH and the University of Bern.While dentistry was developing, thanks to digital science, Amir Kabir University, as the only faculty offering Medical Informatics course in iran, was promising a nice future for this field. So, he went for MSc in Medical Informatics course. Meanwhile, he became acquainted with newer aspects of technology development and its important role in the future of dentistry, which covered the current deficits of the dentistry. So, he carried on to study Medical Engineering and got MSc degree. Now, he is doing all dental treatments in his office precisely, often in one session, with assistance of the above two fields. He delivered his Medical IT thesis with the title of “The virtual dental office” in 2007 and Medical Engineering thesis about “Adding silver nanoparticles to dental restorations, bone powder and membranes” in 2009, while he registered several patents and a knowledge-based company too.Although, regarding the importance of promoting professional ethics, he attended in Legal Expert in dentistry and dental materials since 2005, where he enjoyed the experience of the great Iranian professional dentists, while he received Fellowship of Academy of Dentistry International (ADI) in 2013.Following Digital Dentistry path, he has been a member of ISCD since 2014 and has been attending seminars, and received a CEREC trainer certification in Cape Town (South Africa) in 2017
