I specialize in seismic imaging and interpretation, with a focus on the Common Reflection Surface (CRS) stack, geological interpretation of seismic images, seismic signal analysis, and image processing. My research is dedicated to improving geological interpretations in complex structures and automating the identification of geological objects such as salt domes, buried channels, and mud diapirs. Additionally, I work on characterizing rock properties and studying fracture behavior in carbonate formations, particularly their role in fluid flow within reservoirs.The insights gained from my research are applicable to various fields, including geothermal site investigations, CO₂ storage monitoring and injection, geohazard prediction, and automated geological interpretation of geophysical data. I leverage advanced Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) techniques for automatic identification and interpretation of geological features, working primarily with Python.My work has focused extensively on enhancing the quality of seismic images in complex geological settings by improving imaging algorithms. This includes advancements in fault detection, delineating weak zones in subsurface layers, precise boundary detection of geological structures, and reconstructing the structural evolution of study areas. I have also contributed significantly to velocity modeling and diffraction imaging methods, which are at the forefront of seismic imaging research.A key aspect of my research is developing diffraction imaging techniques for seismic characterization, particularly in identifying highly fractured zones in carbonate rocks. I study the role of fractures in fluid flow analysis and their implications for geothermal sites, CO₂ storage, and other environmental studies. My work includes generating fracture intensity maps from high-resolution seismic data to support fluid analysis and environmental assessments.Additionally, I have developed a proprietary methodology for modeling the elastic behavior of fractures under varying pressure regimes. This work integrates knowledge-based artificial intelligence (AI) techniques into seismic reservoir characterization, particularly for heterogeneous reservoirs. My AI-driven methods demonstrate innovative approaches to seismic data interpretation in challenging geological conditions.
