I interacted with senior officials of various Government Dept like Discoms, Municipal Corporations, IT dept, Central Ministries to promote cashless mechanism and to enable Digital payments framework for them. I was instrumental in signing the largest Government order at Pine Labs from the Government of Rajasthan.Before this, I led the Delhi Merchant Acquiring business at Airtel Money, wherein I was responsible for increasing the acceptance of Airtel Money by onboarding Merchants and to increase throughput/revenue from the same. I was also responsible for coordinating with the existing distribution network for setting up assisted counters for Bill payments.My introduction to payments business, during the early part of my career, was through my stint at ICICI Bank in the Merchant Acquisition team. This helped me gain a deep understanding of both the POS as well as the Payment Gateway businesses. At ICICI, I gained a wholesome business leadership skillset by handling other assignments in the Retail lending and the Business Intelligence Unit.
