I'm the cofounder of Elea Collective: our members have built some of the most iconic businesses in the world across a wide array of industries.I am focused on forming and investing in companies building things that matter.Prior to Elea, I co-founded World Within, a holding company forming & investing in companies with breakthrough technologies. I have raised over $50M for companies I advise.My unique view into the possibilities and limits of markets has led me to advise entrepreneurs as well as family principals and philanthropists dedicated to transforming their wealth into purpose. For several years I chaired the board of the Emory Global Health Institute, the largest research grant recipient from the Gates Foundation. I also serve on the boards of Generation Pledge and a family office based in Brazil.Outside of work, I have a parallel career as a poet. My writing has been supported by a Breadloaf Scholarship and appears in Narrative, the Southern Humanities Review, and Northwest Review.I travel often and am based between NYC and Atlanta.
