Mehwish has been an active participant in numerous international and national conferences, seminars, and policy dialogues, with a primary emphasis on issues related to sexual and gender minorities and child protection.She has been influential in mainstream media, working to shape policies and legislation for the protection and promotion of child rights. Her portfolio includes collaborations with expert panels on sexual and gender minorities and child rights, contributing to the drafting of frameworks, policies, legislations, and global reports on these critical subjects.Mehwish has demonstrated strong leadership in the National Child Rights Movement Pakistan (CRM) and the National Action and Coordination Group, an apex body within SAARC & South Asian Institute Ending Violence Against Children (SAIEVAC).
