My main scope at this position was to conduct information security processes internally as well as providing cybersecurity services to different Moldavian companies. Specifically performing the following:• Developing and maintaining policies and procedures of ISMS ISO 27001:2013 system;• Leading infosec audits, vulnerability scans and risk evaluations. Making security reports• Publication of security advisories and recommendations;• Development of data processing tools (Python based).

- Incident handling: analysis of reported incidents, verification of reported information, contacting of affected parties, coordination of incident response, providing security recommendations;- Alerts and warnings: notification of constituents regarding current threats and vulnerabilities, publication of security advisories and recommendations.- Vulnerability assessment: web & network vulnerability scanning, penetration testing.- Awareness building: writing newsletters and information security best practices;- Technology watch: reading security mailing lists, security web sites and current news;- Development of security tools: writing job specific scripts (Python based).- Intrusion detection: Log analysis, creation of custom signatures for intrusion prevention system.

- Monitoring, troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving remotely telecommunications network performance malfunctions, defects and faults of network switches, DSLAMs and routers at access and part of the core network layers;- Performing planned software upgrades and reconfiguration. - Maintenance of network equipment, replacement of defect modules.- Optimization of telecommunication network incident handling process.
