I am a director of communications based in Miami, Florida. Prior to joining The Weinbach Group more than a decade ago, I worked as a freelance journalist specializing in lifestyle, entertainment, and business technology. I handle a range of marketing communications activities, including researching and monitoring clients’ businesses, their competitors, and industries to identify and target opportunities. I am also responsible for managing public relations and publicity activities, supervising publicists and copywriters, and handling direct media outreach. I create and/or oversee digital and traditional advertising, promotional materials, sales collateral, and online content. A native New Englander, I earned a Bachelor of Science in fashion design from Syracuse University and a master’s degree from Western New Mexico University. I am a PhD candidate at the University of South Africa in Linguistics, Language, and Literature. I am a member of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) and the International Comparative Literature Association (ICLA).
