With 30 years of experience in academia and leading policy think tanks, I have strategically addressed China-related issues at various forums and produced results. Details: https://sinotalks.com/consultation-training.SINOTALKS® is the culmination of my extensive career in China law and business, which includes (1) founding and directing Stanford Law School's groundbreaking China Guiding Cases Project (2011-2021), (2) teaching "China Law & Business" at Stanford Law School (2007-2021), (3) serving as a visiting fellow at the Hoover Institution (2010-2012), (4) working for the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, a Washington D.C.-based think tank (2001-2005), and (5) serving as a law professor (tenured) in Hong Kong (1994-2001). Admitted as a barrister in England, Wales, and Hong Kong and licensed to practice law in New York and the District of Columbia, I hold five degrees, including a JSD and a JSM from Stanford Law School and an MBA (finance) from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Founder And Director, China Guiding Cases Project
As the Founder and Director of the China Guiding Cases Project ("CGCP") from 2011 to 2021, Dr. Gechlik managed a team of nearly 200 members to bring the project’s analyses—contributed by U.S. and Chinese judges, officials, other experts, and the CGCP team—to nearly 250,000 readers from over 100 countries and to present at various forums, including the World Bank, the Open Government Partnership Global Summit, U.S.−China Legal Exchange Conferences, the Supreme People’s Court of China, and the Belt & Road Initiative conference organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China. The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace is a Washington DC-based think-tank. Dr. Gechlik testified before the U.S. Congress on various topics about China and advised the United Nations and the Chinese government on implementing rule of law programs. She also initiated meetings, including the “Legal Reform in China” Conference, to feature distinguished speakers such as the Hon. Sandra Day O’Connor, Associate Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, and the Hon. Zhou Wenzhong, Ambassador of China to the United States.
