For my honors thesis I joined in the Food & Cognition research group supervised by dr. Esther Aarts at the donders Institute. I investigated the gut-brain axis and looked more closely at the role of the gut microbiome in human eating behavior. During the internship, I gathered valuable research experience including data management and analysis.

The Inspectio Research Institute focuses on traffic psychology. During my internship, we investigated the interaction between the driver and advanced driver-assistance systems testing participants in a dynamic driving simulator. Furthermore, we investigated traffic from the view of cyclists using eye-tracking. I gathered experience in working with participants, constructing questionnaires and data preparation.
