The TWU Writing Centre, a department of the Learning Commons, works with students with writing tasks such as choosing a topic, formulating a thesis, generating ideas, organizing an outline, assessing paragraph development, documenting sources, and revising sentence structure, grammar, word choice, and punctuation. We offer both in-person and online sessions. I consult with students in one-on-one sessions to develop their writing skills.

TWU Career & Professional Development, a department under the Learning Commons, assists TWU students and alumni in exploring personal, educational and career options to make informed decisions. I consult with students and alumni in one-on-one sessions to craft a resume that showcases who they are to help them land a wonderful interview.

WriteAway offers collaborative online writing tutoring services for undergraduates in British Columbia universities. Learners at participating institutions receive feedback and strategies to improve their writing from qualified tutors.

Trinity Western University’s literary journal provides TWU students, staff, and alumni with a space to freely address and reflect on issues related to identity, faith, and the world. I served as Editor-in-Chief, managing an editorial team of 9, overseeing the process of producing a volume from theme conceptualization to publication, and coaching selected writers on their works.

I offered English tutoring to students under the Singapore educational system on a freelance basis. Students ranged from pre-school to high school levels, with needs including phonics, ESL English, creative writing, and exam skills.
