In the course of my 17 years in the hotel industry computers, email and websites revolutionized how we could connect to people. I left the hotel industry to spend 4 years in the theme park industry as part of a sales and marketing team. It was here I got my first real taste of planning large scale events and how traditional media could be a powerful way to impact a business. It was my 6 years at a tourism office that fueled my fascination with social media and the impact of outreach. In my role at a nonprofit heritage railroad and museum among other things, I was the frontline of 7 different online platforms. I love sharing the story and connecting with people in ways that matter. Now that I am a freelance consultant I enjoy putting my skills to the test for clients and getting results.
