I am currently on the lookout for new job opportunities in the Oslo region. As a firm believer in the green shift, I would like to take a more active part towards that end.While mostly experienced with structural engineering, I'm highly qualified for roles that require visualization, presentation, planning and documentation. Being detail-oriented I prefer to work closely to the end product and "hands on" rather than taking a managers role. That being said, I regularly take charge and coordinate multidisciplinary teams in problem-solving in my current role as senior engineer at TechnipFMC.I am best described as a creator. On both a professional and personal level I am passionate about the process of creating, whether it is designing a steel structure or an excel worksheet for handling data, or even arranging tasks to maximize efficiency.My education as an engineer in product development and materials is not restricted to the creation of physical products. It is a way of thinking, of how to define a problem and a method of finding the best way to solve it. I have found that this is applicable to just about anything.Mechanical engineering, analysis, materials, DNV, NORSOK, CAD-progams, etc. are tools and skills that enable me to solve problems, and so they are a part of the process of creating. Any tool or skill that I lack I acquire as needed.
