Athens-based political analyst and commentator on regional and international developments with a special interest in Turkish-Greek relations and Mediterranean affairs. More recently, my research has focused on third-party involvement in Greek-Turkish affairs paying special attention to the role of Germany. Before moving back to Athens in late 2021, I held senior positions at the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF) in Southern Europe, East and South East Asia, North Africa and the Middle East and North Africa, and in Turkey. As a Senior Research Fellow at "The Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy" (ELIAMEP), I am the Coordinator of Research Projects on Greek-German relations. A journalist by training, I have published widely on current affairs in academic journals and the media.
