Amani Centre for Street Children is committed to reducing the number of children living on the streets in Tanzania by providing a nurturing place for homeless children to heal, grow, and learn. In addition to providing long-term care, Amani aims to reunite children with their relatives when possible and to equip their families with the tools they need to be self-sustainable. Amani is dedicated to creating a path for each child that leads to a future filled with hope.My role as Executive Director is:- To work in close collaboration with the management team (6 staff) to ensure Amani runs smoothly and is effective and efficient- To focus on organizational and programme development, and staff capacity building (total: 60 staff)- To ensure financial transparency and sustainability, and raise international support for Amani- To advocate for street children’s rights, both locally and internationally.
