I have forged a near 20-year career in the UK public sector being recognised as a high performing and proven senior leader within both public and private sector specialising in performance development and improvement on national and local projects. Specialising in system and policy with a key emphasis on cost reduction and staff development. Leading the performance delivery on the NHS agency agenda I deliver a reduction in agency expenditure of £1.2bn within 2 years. This delivery was recognised by the Secretary of State for Health, Jeremy Hunt and the CEO of NHS Improvement, Jim Mackey, as “one of the biggest successes in our lifetime” and recognised as the best performing team within NHS Improvement.My unique skill set of being able to understand both analytical data and intelligence and translate that into new systems and processes that are manageable and deliverable has led me to being recognised as the leading specialist in reduction of temporary staff spend within the UK.
