I was offered this position permanently and declined.Responsible for providing high-quality instructional resources and teaching practices across 28 schools serving grades 6-8 within PPS.Lead a team of 14 that provided support to middle schools, K-12 Library Services and K-12 Dyslexia and Interventions.Envisioned, created, allocated and managed a budget of 2 million dollars. Supported school principals with Design Thinking to attend to problems of practice.

Appointed to Middle Grades Core Academics in addition to Middle School Innovation and Redesign. For the MSIR position in collaboration with Ed Elements and PPS Middle Schools, I was tasked to rethink and reimagine the middle school experience for students, families and staff.

Led a school with approximately 500 students and 50 staff members. CSS is a focus option in SE Portland that uses constructivism to guide its teaching practices.

As the assistant principal, I supported staff in a variety of ways and problem-solved with students and families.

Develop and facilitate professional development activities for administrators, teachers and instructional assistants to increase awareness and understanding of research-based instructional practices that promote achievement for all students.

I've had classroom experience, that includes but is not limited to curriculum development and mapping, differentiated instruction, and RTI in 2nd, 5th and 6th grade.
