The Phoenix Scholars is a 501(c)(3) organization that aims to assist minority and/or low-income students to apply to and attend college. By embracing the e-mentoring model, we pair college students with similar backgrounds to high school students prior to the college application season. Who then assist in everything from making college list to accepting their offer of admission.

As Director of Programming, I was responsible for the development of curriculum, Mentor/Scholar relationship management and mediation, training, and Cohort Management (Application, Acceptance, Retainment). Also managed Core Members, distributed and supported projects to ensure that scholars received high quality mentorship and assistance.

Developed a self-service Java boqlet to generate highly customized mock traffic data for Firebase Engineering Teams used for integration testing.Wrote unit, integration, and end-to-end tests throughout the development process with high test coverage, consistently.Participated in technical development workshops, courses, intern specific events, and a Googler Mentorship program.

Migrated Integration test from legacy test framework to updated framework that decreases testing time and resources, allowing developers to push code faster and reduce test flaky-ness. Collaborated with fellow intern to create black-box tests for Google Cloud project, Identity-Aware Proxy, along with migrating existing Python tests to C++ . Participated in Googler-led technical development workshops such as Machine Learning using TensorFlow.

Built student UX journey maps order to map out and optimize each digital touch point to increase student engagement with the office. Managed requests and updates to the recruiting platform: Handshake. Developed a Tableau dashboard to centralize and visualize resources data, which previously were a collection of dispersed excel sheets.

Conducted research on digital platforms to better understand the expectations and behavior of prospective clients and top talent through web analytics, interviews, and web tracking. Contributed interactive UI elements to new Corporate website (infosys.com) UI and crafted UX to improve company awareness and perception amongst American & European Early Professionals.

Designed and built a connection of workflows, libraries, and electronic forms to automate and manage request for External Training using SharePoint.
