Within my position as Digital Marketing Coordinator I helped to drive both candidate and client enquiries within the UK's largest Sales Development and Recruitment agency. Main priorities consisted of writing marketing collateral such as guides, PR articles, whitepapers and email campaign content. This is alongside managing company social media channels, producing animations and writing the internal company newsletter.

As part of my position I helped to produce marketing materials for the company, encouraging brand continuity externally as well as internally. Alongside this I helped to increase brand awareness through the management of social media, whilst creating case studies, blogs and pursuing PR opportunities and networking. Other tasks included assisting in organising recruitment open days, whilst writing the internal company newsletter. Thorough communication skills were required at all times to assist various departments, such as offering assistance to the sales and training team.

During this volunteering role I carried out online brand development, by utilising social networking sites such as Twitter and Instagram. I managed these various online channels in a bid to promote the business and increase sales through public and community awareness.I also networked with local businesses and the perceived target market to expand and form new possible partnerships.

Here I dealt with customer queries and refunds both in-store and via telephone. As part of my job I also had to organise supplier returns for faulty items, customer orders, as well as set break and till rotas for my fellow colleagues.

I helped to effectively lead a team of students on a live campaign, utilising all forms of social media to create partnerships and generate positive PR coverage. As part of my role, I had to inform local media of upcoming events in the form of press release writing as well as direct E-marketing and the implementing of creative PR techniques. I wrote the answers to the entry form submission questions for the 2013 Liverpool Echo Environment Awards and my contribution led to the charity winning 'Best Waste Prevention Award' at the ceremony.

As part of my work experience at Zeus I provided assistance working on numerous accounts, in a bid to encourage media coverage for clients. Duties included contacting celebrity agents for an upcoming restaurant launch, managing clients social media and interacting with bloggers to create PR opportunities for both parties involved. I also updated the agency's monthly activity reports and directly liaised with journalists when pitching products or services for clients.

I worked as part of a campaign for Liverpool-based charity Neurosupport, to generate publicity and recognition for the work they carry out and the conference room facilities they provide for the community. My duties included event management, running the media relations sub-team and press release writing.
