I am a former special education teacher with ten years of experience working with children, parents, and administration. I synthesize the skills from my many roles and apply my expertise in communicating with multiple stakeholders in any career opportunity. I have strong technical skills which provide students with opportunities to build twenty-first-century skills necessary to succeed in life. I develop and manage relationships with relevant parties by organizing case conference committees to include parents, educators, and administrators to develop individualized education programs for students with disabilities in accessing the school curriculum. I am skilled at meeting legal expectations and deadlines through my experience with Article 7 individualized education program documentation. As a special education teacher, I work with my colleagues towards the common goal of accessing all available resources to ensure students get the support they need to excel.
