About Mel Ebeling
I am a fourth-year medical student applying to residency in emergency medicine this cycle (2024-2025). I have a strong foundation in prehospital emergency medicine with experience in fire-based 911 emergency response, ground ambulance operations, and event medicine. Coupled with these experiences, my comprehensive training as a Hazardous Materials Specialist has refined my ability to perform effectively in high-pressure environments. Throughout my undergraduate medical education, I have also demonstrated a significant interest in simulation, developing and publishing my own high-fidelity, immersive simulation cases for medical students and residents, as well as promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in medicine through leadership and scholarly activity. As I work towards becoming physician leader, scholar, and educator, I am dedicated to harnessing my diverse experiences to deliver outstanding emergency medical care and train the next generation of physicians.
