About Mel Head
I have worked with vulnerable children, young people and families for just over 20 years. I have extensive experience of multi-agency working, child protection and engaging hard to reach young people. I have worked for the police, local council, schools and within the community to mentor children and young people. I have a proven record of engaging children and young people who have experienced multiple challenges and adverse childhood experiences.I'm a firm believer in the power of nature to aid wellbeing and trained as Level 3 Forest School Leader in 2020 to allow me to help vulnerable young people to increase their mental health and wellbeing, via the outdoors.
