My role at Flinders University includes the following:2020- Working on the Compass Portal Project to improve the student experience at Flinders University- Defining APIs for getting information from the Student Management software & LMS and working with an external company to build the APIs - Creating mockups of the student portal dashboard and working with staff and students through workshops and surveys to identify all their requirements - Writing requirements for the development team for new AEM components and login functionality2019 - Working with staff in all Corporate Service areas and Colleges to understand how they use the information on the current staff web pages - Developing an information architecture for a new Staff Portal and Library website - Conducting a content audit of over 14,000 web pages - Creation of the Staff Portal, Library and Student Portal sites in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) - Migrating legacy content from the old CMS to AEM and improving its usability - Writing requirements for the development team for new AEM components

I worked with the content management systems, Episerver and Sitecore.Project highlights:Detmold- Worked with Detmold to document the requirements for the new Detpak and Paperpak websites. Along with one other person, I had a key role in the design and coding of a Lotus Notes based content management system for AMP’s 13 web sites. This evolving product was later named ‘Aptrix’ and was eventually bought by IBM and renamed to WCM.

I worked as an Ada Software Engineer working on simulators for the ANZAC Class Frigates and Collins Class Submarines. These simulators were used for training crew in the Royal Australian Navy and for testing the operation of the software systems running on the frigates and submarines. My responsibilities included designing, coding and testing modules that simulated weapons, fire control systems, motion of the vehicles and the environment in which they operated.
